2. Information We Collect
To provide high-quality fleet management and session tracking, we collect several categories of information:
- Account Credentials: Full name, business details, phone number, email address, password, and profiles created for you and your clients.
- Tractor Fleet Details: Model numbers, rates, and fuel efficiency metrics configured inside your dashboard.
- Operational Session Logs: Duration of work (hours), acres worked, fuel usage, and calculated cost amounts logged manually by owners.
- Manual Payment Records: Details of payments made by clients (amount, date, payment method such as cash, cheque, or online transfer) as logged manually by owners for bookkeeping. We do not collect or process credit cards or financial transaction data in the app.
- Offline Caching Data: When working offline, operational logs and client details are cached locally on your device (using Hive). Once network coverage is restored, this local data is synchronized to our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to operate, maintain, and optimize KrishiTrack, including:
- Facilitating secure owner and client authentication.
- Tracking tractor session progress and calculating service billings.
- Generating downloadable PDF performance, client payment, and statement reports.
- Enabling the offline database to correctly sync and reconcile queues with Cloud Firestore.
- Providing customer support and troubleshooting application crashes.
4. Data Storage and Security
All cloud-synchronized data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore. We implement strict administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion of your fleet records.
Your local offline data is kept in sandbox directories on your mobile device. However, we recommend securing your device with PIN codes or biometric locks to prevent unauthorized local file access.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosures
We believe your business analytics are your own. We do not sell, lease, or distribute your operational logs or client details to third-party advertisers. We may only disclose data if required to do so by applicable laws, subpoenas, or legal processes to protect KrishiTrack's rights and assets.
6. Your Controls and Rights
You maintain full authority over your data. Inside the dashboard, you may:
- Modify or delete client directories, session logs, and payment records.
- Request full deletion of your business account and all associated cloud-synced databases by contacting support.
7. Policy Modifications
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
